Hi friends, welcome back to blogtober if you’re following along. If you missed day one, catch up here. If you’re not, welcome anyway, I love having you here. Today’s prompt is the best books to read in October. It’s all subjective of course, but I’m going to include some popular books out now, some good books to get you in the October mood, and some of my all-time favourites.

The Clan of the Cave Bear
It’s part of a series of books by Jean M Auel, and she describes the prehistoric times so brilliantly and you can relate to the characters so much, I loved all the books.
These are just a few books and styles I enjoy, there are so many I can include and I will probably add more to a big list later but for now, what do you think? What are your favourite books? I love to re-read my favourites and discover new classics too.

I can like the sound of the feed your family for £20 in a hurry book. I am always looking for quick meals to make
What a great selection of books. I am not a big reader but I do like the sound of these. x
I have The Clan of the Cave Bear but I’ve never read it, maybe I should. I’m just about to dig into The Bullet that Missed.
Oh these sound good (and the feed your family one looks very useful). I have heard lots about Richard Osman books but haven’t read one yet! xxx
This is a nice variety of books for the season! Thanks for sharing.
I’ve heard great things about the paper palace. Thank you for sharing!
I love Salem’s Lot and I’ve got the Richard Osman book on my bedside table, I just haven’t opened it yet!
I really enjoyed The Bullet That Missed and I like some Stephen King stuff, but not the real horror stuff. His 11.22.63 is one of my favourite books ever.
Popping over from At Home a Lot.
