It’s time for the weeks positives. How’s your week been?
Snow
The main one was snow came for us at last! It started rather pathetically but eventually we got enough snow to get excited about. Today it’s rather deep (for us) and pretty treacherous outside. We made a snowman, had snowball fights and then had hot chocolate. Archie the dog loves it but our cat Monty isn’t so keen. He peed in the bathroom in protest.
School may soon be starting
I got an email from my son’s school discussing testing requirements and starting back up again. It’s also only a week until half term, so we can actually not home school instead of the pathetic efforts we normally do.
My workplace is covid free
The cases we did have are recovered now and finished their isolation, so we are covid free again. I have had a cough/cold over the last few days but very mild, and my test was negative.
All the builders have visited us
We are now just awaiting quotes from builders. We have our first choice one and we actually agree. We tend to agree on the big decisions thankfully, but we disagree on silly little things. The bad news is that our preferred builder can’t start until about July. It does depend on the price really, if they are way out of budget we may have to rethink. It got me really excited sitting down and talking about the plans.
