Monday Happy List 7

Good morning and welcome to the Monday happy list. Let’s dive straight in to the positives from last week.

Spring has arrived

The snow all melted away and then came warmer temperatures and suddenly it feels like spring. It brings with it some hope that we will have some semblance of normal life. The snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils are all coming out and I have seen the birds carrying little nest fibres around.

soon these will all be bluebells

The road map of recovery is being announced

Today Boris Johnson will announce his roadmap to ease restrictions. Word is schools will open on the 8th March in two weeks time. I can’t wait. I’m also looking forward to seeing my parents again properly.

Half term

We all had a nice half term together, Mr L had a week off work so we were able to all relax together. We couldn’t do much obviously, but it was nice not to have to get up on time or set the alarm. It was a bit of a shock this morning getting up and setting up the virtual school set up. I do get slightly more work done though I have to admit.

I discovered fanfiction

You know I’m a huge Once upon a time fan? Well, you do now. I discovered fan fiction and I love it. I’ve even started writing my own which I will share with you once it’s finished and I’ve had some feedback. I’d love to write a novel one day, so I see writing fan fiction as practice and honing my writing voice. I’ve almost finished watching the 7 series again and I’m probably going to start again from the beginning. It’s a comfort to me.

How about you? What are your positives for the week?
